The view was amazing the host was extremely friendly and accommodating spoke all languages and reassured everyone about safety and procedures.
Once at our ultimate height we all enjoyed a glass of Champagne.
Before we even got home from our weeks holiday the complimentary DVD with videos and pics was on our door step as we walked in..

Really Great Experience and Value From the moment I contacted them the owner was a champ and worked with me and my confusing and ever... read moreFrom the moment I contacted them the owner was a champ and worked with me and my confusing and ever changing schedule. They gave me and my girlfriend a super experience and sunset baloon ride (same can definitely not be said for their competition which had horrible reviews). The rates are super fare and a real bargain. They really care you have a great time and spend a lot of time showing and explaining some of the places as we pass over (and the champagne was a nice touch). Thanks again guys as it was a fantastic experience because your care of us as a client.

Extraordinaria experiencia, para repetir Tenia ganas de tener esta experiencia y creo que hemos dado con una de las mejores empresas que pueden ofrecer... read moreTenia ganas de tener esta experiencia y creo que hemos dado con una de las mejores empresas que pueden ofrecer dicha experiencia, por lo que vimos, prima la seguridad y no tanto realizar el vuelo en globo sin una seguridad 100%, estas cuando se infla y cuando se recoge, por tanto no solo es el vuelo, realizan tanto fotos como video que luego te entregan, te van explicando los pormenores del vuelo y vas a merced del viento, "no se sabe donde se aterriza", la experiencia consta de alrededor de tres horas que se pasan volando "nunca mejor dicho", por ultimo reiterar la recomendación de realizar con IB Ballooning dicha experiencia y para el que este interesado esta es su pagina web ballooningmallorca.net o también ibballooning.net read less

The most uplifting experience with Jordi and Julio at Illes Balears Ballooning! We decided to take a balloon trip with our 4 year old on the recommendation of our host at Predi... read moreWe decided to take a balloon trip with our 4 year old on the recommendation of our host at Predi Son Jaumell Hotel Rural near Calle Mesquida, in the Capdepera area. I was a little unsure because it's along way up to take a little boy (!), and I suffer from vertigo from time to time. However, when we met Jordi and Julio I felt very much better about it - they are both incredible warm and welcoming and clearly real experts in ballooning. Jordi has spent the last 20 years ballooning and has clocked up more than 2,500 flights. We started at 6:30pm trying for a sunset flight and drove to a launch location about 10 mins away; throughout the trip he explained they were observing the trees to see what kind of wind there was and where it was blowing. They tested this agin in more depth with small helium balloons at the side and decided we should try elsewhere as the South westerly might make a bumpy launch and take us too close to the Med. The second location was not much better and after some testing Jordi recommended we try again early in the morning. I couldn't have been happier with their meticulous evaluation of the situation and communication of what they were looking out for and why as we drove. The next morning we started at about 7:30, this time right next to our lovely hotel. It was really impressive to see the beautifully made balloon lying flat and large on the ground with the basket and fire blowers set up. He used a large ventilator to open the balloon before firing the heat through it and we climbed in the basket and rose very quickly. It was an easy, comfortable start - no bumps, no gusts of wind - and it continued that way until the end. We floated calmly and serenely over the most beautiful countryside, farms and houses as the morning sun broke through the mist. It was genuinely magical and Jordi was all the time checking the direction, the air travel and in communication with Julio on the ground, while at the same time somehow being able to show us around his beautiful island and provide us with champagne, strawberries and a little light breakfast, and warmly joke with our little boy. No hint of vertigo appeared at any time. I cannot recommend Illes Balears more highly, nor Jordi and his colleague Julio. They were uplifting in every way. We had to drive to Cala Millor (there is the meeting point) which was not in our plan of touring the island but it was totaly worth it 🙂 Since we came from Palmanova we decided to come earlier and visit the beach and sorrounding area which is also worth visiting. So we had a beautifully spent day topped with a balloon ride at sunset - and I would recommend everyone doing the same. read less

La Segunda vez, vuelo bajo,raso, aburrido y tampoco recibi fotos, eramos tres amigos y les anime a volar, se quedaron defraudados, 500e mal gastados.9 personas en total.
Si hace mal tiempo es logico no salir, pero si no se puede ofrecer un vuelo "normal", o se repite,o se devuelve el dinero o parte de el.
El trato de los que preparan el vuelo muy bien. read less

We found the location OK they met us tested the wind speeds etc then took us to a location to start. There isn't much room in the cab but its a short journey. Need to be fit well at least some of the party do as you help inflate the balloon which is huge and the burners are hot and fans huge.
When inflated you have to quickly clamber into the basket via the foot holes in the basket. Once in your away and its breathtaking as you fly gently over the countryside sip a glass of bubbly take photos and enjoy the views.
The pilot took a video and photos as well and emails them to you at home. At the end of the flight they and you help pack away the balloon and they take you back to your vehicle at the meeting point and pay them and get a flight certificate to keep. ENJOYABLE would recommend to anyone who is fit enough to help and clamber into and out of the balloon. EMAIL info@ibballooning.net read less
